Qualcuno di voi ha mai sentito parlare di Mal d'Africa? E' quello che è successo a noi dopo essere tornati da un viaggio davvero speciale e unico in Kenya. Un indimenticabile Safari ("lungo viaggio", in swahili) a contatto con la natura selvaggia e gli animali. Volevamo rivivere quella sensazione di infinito mentre dalla nostra Jeep 4x4 osservavamo il passo lento degli elefanti o le dolci giraffe che allungavano il collo per brucare i ramoscelli degli alberi, mentre il sole tramontava sui panoramici unici del continente africano. Per il nostro salotto ci siamo lasciati trasportare dall'immaginazione e abbiamo voluto rievocare l'atmosfera di antichi viaggi alla scoperta dell'Africa con bauli e valigie d'epoca.

Have any of you ever heard of Mal d'Afrique? This is what happened to us after returning from a very special and unique trip to Kenya. An unforgettable Safari ("long journey", in Swahili) in contact with wild nature and animals. We wanted to relive that feeling of infinity while from our 4x4 Jeep we watched the slow pace of the elephants or the sweet giraffes that stretched their necks to graze the twigs of the trees, as the sun set on the unique panoramas of the African Continent. For our living room we let ourselves be carried away by the imagination and we wanted to evoke the atmosphere of ancient travels to discover Africa with vintage trunks and suitcases.

Negli ultimi anni abbiamo avuto la fortuna di viaggiare in moltissimi paesi del mondo, di scoprire il paradiso dei Caraibi e di vivere la magia del deserto della Giordania a stretto contatto con la cultura del popolo beduino. In recent years we have been lucky enough to travel to many countries around the world, to discover the paradise of the Caribbean and to experience the magic of the Jordanian desert in close contact with the culture of the Bedouin people. What perfect Mix & Match if not the one that combines the color of the woods found on a Caribbean beach with the tones of the desert and spices of the Middle East? It might seem like a rash combination, but believe us the result is truly special. With an intercontinental flight we wanted to recreate a unique environment in our living room:

Imagine wandering around an old industrial district in the United States converted into an international design hub, where red brick buildings are transformed into trendy clubs and the streets are filled with trendy people. We really wanted to relive this atmosphere in our guest room by choosing:

Non potevamo dimenticare la nostra India, terra di contrasti, sapori e di esperienze fuori dall'ordinario. La frenesia delle strade di New Delhi ci accompagna ancora oggi, quel suono continuo di clacson, i tuk tuk che sfrecciano tra le vie e centinaia di persone riversate tra le strade che vivono la quotidianità di un paese caotico e magico. Abbiamo voluto rendere magico il nostro salone con un mix speciale tra il caos indiano, la tradizione americana dei cocktail e la cultura occidentale legata al mito della Vespa per un risultato eccezionale:

We could not forget our India, a land of contrasts, flavors and experiences out of the ordinary. The frenzy of the streets of New Delhi still accompanies us today, that continuous sound of the horn, the tuk tuks whizzing through the roads and hundreds of people poured into the streets living the everyday life of a chaotic and magical country. We wanted to make our salon magical with a special mix of Indian chaos, the American tradition of cocktails and Western culture linked to the myth of the Scooter for an exceptional result:
